Week 1:

In Part 1, we explore the North Island’s most iconic spots – from Hahei Beach and the famous Cathedral Cove, to digging a hot pool at Hot Water Beach. We visit the magical Hobbiton movie set, then hike to the top of Mount Maunganui for breathtaking views. Next, we explore Rotorua’s geothermal pools, take a serene walk through the Redwood Forest, and end with one of New Zealand’s best hikes – the Tongariro Alpine Crossing!

Week 2:

This episode takes us to incredible spots on both the North and South Islands. We hike Mount Taranaki in Egmont National Park, go to Wellington, and take the overnight ferry to the South Island. Things take an unexpected turn when our Christmas plans are ruined by a flooded campsite. New adventures await as we hike in Abel Tasman National Park and discover breathtaking views at Nelson Lakes National Park.

Week 3:

We finished our previous episode in Nelson Lakes National Park and are continuing to drive around the south island. this episode we are exploring Arthur’s Pass National Park, we attend a 5 days music festival to celebrate New Years at Twisted Frequency, and we find tranquility in Franz Josef and Fox Glacier.
