We are Cristian and Emmelie, a married couple who are just started travelling around the world. We are from different parts of the world – Cristian is from Colombia and Emmelie is from Sweden. We met a few years ago in Dubai where we both lived and worked. We have always enjoyed traveling whenever we could get a break from work, but we recently decided to take the leap, quit our jobs, and experience the world.
We believe that travel around the world is not just about the destinations, but about the journey itself. It is about getting out of your comfort zone, try new things, and learning about yourself and the world around you. We love to immerse ourselves in local culture, try new foods, and meet new people along the way.
We are no experts, but we are eager to learn and share our experiences with you. We created this blog as a way to document our travels and share our experiences with others. Our hope is to inspire other couples to take the leap, explore the world, and create their own unforgettable memories.

Our Journey Around The World
Embarking on a journey to backpack around the world is a dream for many travellers. For us, that dream became a reality in May 2023 as we set out from Dubai, ready to explore the world with nothing but our backpacks and a sense of adventure.
Month 1-6
Our first stop is Southeast Asia, a region known for its vibrant cultures, stunning landscapes, and delicious cuisine. From bustling cities to pristine beaches, we’re excited to immerse ourselves in the rich diversity of this corner of the world.
